Alcep Travel & Events, one of France's leading Destination Management Companies, has initiated two significant steps in the South of France. Already very active on the Southern France DMC scene, the company has moved to new enlarged offices in Nice on Rue Pastorelli. It has also appointed Giordana Alessandri, one of the most talented DMC specialists on the Cote d'Azur, to be its new Office Director.

Giordana is a DMC 'natural' with a strong affinity for organizing exactly the right type of corporate event. While at University studying for a Degree in Humanities, she found her passion for Tourism. She abandoned her academic studies in favor of totally immersing herself into all aspects of the Tourism Industry. For over 20 years Giordana has followed this passion, developing a perfect knowledge of the Italian market and gaining impressive skills in every facet of the Destination Management business in France.

She has lived in the Côte d'Azur for the past 11 years and has built up an enviable network of contacts and relationships, particularly with the region's most prestigious hotels and with many other top-rate suppliers.

As one of France's predominant DMCs, with offices located both in Paris and Nice, Alcep is already very active with DMC projects in the South of France and Monaco. This new development will allow enable the company to offer its clients an even better service, explains Alcep General Manager Philip Gombert.

"The South of France, with its Mediterranean climate, is a favored venue for corporate DMC events. While there are many things to do here, one must also be careful to make the correct choices. That's where rich local knowledge and contacts are invaluable. Giordana brings us many unique assets and under her guidance our Nice office will prosper and grow. It will help us to continue our trend of attracting a respectable share of the DMC business flowing into Southern France to be managed by Alcep."
