| A 400-person conference... | ...with emphasis on elegance... | ...unique dinner settings... | ...and a special show-biz ambience |
January 2011: Our objective was to inject fun and corporate spirit into an intense 6-day sales conference for a leading pharmaceutical company. Over 400 participants, including immunotherapy specialists, general medical practitioners and company sales staff, attended the 6-day event in Monte Carlo.
Work, work but not all the time
The conference focused on a new vaccine brand introduced by the pharmaceutical company. Daily sessions were filled with presentations and panel discussions about these new medical developments. The only true breaks into more social contacts were at dinner times.
Alcep's mandate was to make hotel bookings, arrange conference facilities, organize transport and logistics and take care of all food and beverage arrangements. We took the opportunity to turn the dinners into especially memorable events.
Elegant dinner in Motor Museum
Our client wanted to host a dinner in one of Monaco's top venues. We chose the Top Car Collection, not only for its space but also because it is a unique place. Far beyond being just a motor museum, it houses the Prince of Monaco's private collection of vintage cars. The luxurious table settings together with the splendid backdrop of magnificent old cars created the exclusive ambience that we were looking for.
Gala Evening in Salle des Etoiles
On the evening before the conference closed we held our special Gala Evening (a specialty of Alcep). We booked the Salle des Etoiles, the most famous and prestigious venue in Monte Carlo with an impressive stage setting. Apart from the gourmet 4-course dinner, guests were entertained to a concert by Giuliano Palma, a famous Italian Ska band. Guests danced until 2am.
This high point of the whole event underlined its success. The pharmaceutical company (our final client) was delighted.
PS. Ska music combines elements of Caribbean folk music and Calypso with American Jazz and Rhythm & Blues.
